formation of the colonies

England had established a colony, one no longer alive.
It was Roanoke, in Virginia established in 1585.
Now with this colony beng doomed England didnt get down.
For it was in N. America, in Virginia again now1606, the Virginia Company established Jamestown.
When economics was the concern established was the Jamestown colony.
Well plymouth was established by separists seeking religous autonomy.

The Massachusetts Bay Colony in 1630 started as a commercial adventure.
But to puritans scheduled to be executed it was more like a safe-haven center.
In making important political or religous decisions about the colony,
they were all made by the church because they had become an instant theocracy.
When speaking of representative governments the other colonies were looking at their backs
because the Mass. Bay colony was the first to represent residents onthe terms of being taxed.

Major colonies were established in connecticut, rhode island, new hampshire, and maine
Their basis in which they were formed was the same.
Unlike the Mass. Bay colony these didnt let religion becaome a nuisance.
They focused their time on making a constitution.
Roger williams' advocacy ofseparation of church and state did his reputation damage.
It later convinced puritans leaders to have him banished.
