Currently, there seems to be a battle going on between two political juggernauts. With both being females it really has sparked interest nationally, and the media has fed off of it. The feud between Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and Senator Hilary Clinton. Personally I really don't care about the words they've said to each other in press conferences, or who initiated this feud.

The thing that interests me about this battle is its potential. Now it appears as a fight between two black and white pawns. But it has the potential to escalade into two kings, or queens fighting it out. Both Hilary and Condoleezza have the know how to one day be president. Both have strong political backgrounds, and have a lot experience in being at the top of the political food chain. So who has the advantage? I would have to say Hilary. She is the former- first lady, and the most favored of the two by public. With that being said I wouldn't approve of either. It's not that I don't feel they are capable; it's primarily the fact that they are women. I am all for equal rights, affirmative action and all that stuff because I believe that's how God intended it to be. However I just don't feel that we are ready for a step this big in our country yet.
